Hello, my name is Maria. I am a self-taught artist and picture-books illustrator based in France, winner of Cheltenham Illustration Awards 2023.

 

I draw both with traditional media and digitally but prefer manual techniques. The main topics of my art are children, childhood and family. I am also keen on drawing animals in human life’s situations and humorous scenes. ​​​
